What you have here pretty much happens to a lot of us dudes, in "the moment."
Not technically a fight, but Spider-Woman Jessica Drew has a pretty shocking "physical" encounter here, in ish 18 of her 1979 series, by Mark Gruenwald and Carmine Infantino.

Wow, that first panel's just downright disturbing...
When I was a kid there was a gory flick called THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN which I somehow managed to fleece my grandfather into taking me to. This comic came out after that movie and I'm convinced the guys behind this comic had seen it. This was also where I most strongly associate Carmine Infantino's art...I wasn't around for all the classic Batman and Flash stuff. Infantino was the guy who grossed my sh*t out, and for years remained so.
